SH-130
Problem
SH-130, a toll road in Texas coming out of bankruptcy, needed to recast its value proposition with a new lender group as well as its sponsors and rating agencies.
Constraint
SH-130 had a complicated capital structure that was about to get even more complex with the addition of equity dividends.
Solution
Orbis modelers devised a means to optimize the client’s debt payments over as many as 7 tranches of financing. The model Orbis constructed was used directly during lender negotiations and provided a path toward solvency for the toll road. The resulting transaction won several industry awards for Deal of the Year.
